Tensions are rising between the Northern and Southern regions of Ithenia, threatening to spill over the shores of the river Ithen into a full-fledged conflict. In the South, years of exile are beginning to chafe and the lands of the North look more and more promising by the day.

How much longer until these differences fester? Is war imminent?

All that is certain is that the inequality between the two states has rubbed the South raw. Retribution is within their grasp...

This winter should be a fairly mild one. There are snows, especially in the North, but very few blizzards. All territories north of the river (save for the Boneland) are covered in white; this would melt off within a week or so if not for the nighttime flurries. The South is relatively unaffected by the cold: the only evidence of winter across the river are dead trees and a few frozen rocks. Parts of the lake have turned to ice as well, but for the most part the South remains the same.
